Xbox Game Pass PC pricing and new Xbox App for PC turn up ahead of official announcement

Pricing for Xbox Game Pass on PC has been revealed ahead of the Xbox E3 2019 briefing.

Xbox Game Pass on PC will apparently run you $4.99 per moth, with Insiders paying $1 per month while testing.

According to Neowin, the information was found by Aggiornamenti Lumia who posted the information on Twitter.

Along with the $4.99 price per month, users will be able to save 20% off the price of a game in rotation, 10% off the DLC.

A new app for PC which combines Xbox Game Pass and the Microsoft store was also revealed ahead of the presentation today. Available on the Microsoft Store as a beta, but current unable to be installed, the app combines features from the Microsoft Store and Xbox App. This has been in the works for some time, but it’s nice to know the feature is coming soon. It will be much easier to manage everything through one app.

But that’s not all: it looks like Halo 5: Guardians could finally release on PC – if the Microsoft store page which outed the Xbox app for Windows 10 PC is anything to go by.

Looking over the store page, Neowin noticed a banner that shows multiple games including Halo 5: Guardians. Microsoft said in September it has no plans to bring the game to PC, but with Xbox Game Pass coming to PC, that could change. We’ll have to wait and see. Keep your eyes on the Xbox E3 briefing today, we guess.
