EA Play 2019: Apex Legends, Battlefield 5, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – watch the livestream here

EA Play 2019 kicks off today and you can watch the short segments here along with us.

As part of its “less talk and more play” for EA Play 2019 event this year, Electronic Arts will not host a traditional presentation sd its opted instead for condensed, 30 minute discussions.

After a short preamble, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will kick things off. We’ll hear more about the November title, and hopefully see some lovely lightsaber battles during our first look at gameplay.

Apex Legends will follow, with Respawn Entertainment discussing what to expect with Apex Legends Season 2. The studio already teased some of what’s coming, but a more thorough breakdown is expected.

DICE will discuss upcoming content for Battlefield 5 during its own short stream. Chapter 4 is on the way, and Chapter 5 appears to take place in the Pacific theater if this teaser is anything to go by. So, hopefully, it will discuss more regarding the game’s roadmap.

Annual sports titles FIFA and Madden NFL follow, with The Sims 4 closing things out.

What’s missing from the schedule is Anthem. Originally, we expected to hear more regarding Bioware’s plans for the title. It’s possible the studio is too busy with continued development, what with Catcylsm being tested by players on the dedicated PTS and all.

Need for Speed is also missing from the schedule. EA said the team is skipping E3 this year in order to continue to work hard on the game and hit its 2019 release.

The full schedule for EA Play 2019 is below. All times noted are in US Pacific Daylight. For start times in your region, here’s a handy link.
